New digital service to ensure first aid for concussion
The project aims to help prevent long-term after-effects in people affected by concussion – especially young people.
Initial preparations are well underway ahead of the official project launch on 1 May 2025.
The goal of the project is to help avoid long-term after-effects in people who suffer a concussion – with a particular focus on the youth.
- We are developing the “First Aid for Concussion” programme within the app Mit Liv – min sundhed. The app is free and available to everyone
- In a user-friendly and tailored manner, the programme provides those affected with a consistent and common reference point, containing the most important information in the early stages
- Evaluation and knowledge sharing are the cornerstones of the project.
The project is backed by a strong partnership comprising:
- The Danish Center for Concussion
- The Danish Concussion Association
- The Research Unit for General Practice Odense-Esbjerg
- The Centre for Communication and Welfare Technology, Region of Southern Denmark
- Seven municipalities
- The Health Innovation Centre of Southern Denmark.
