Health in Europe: Joint Actions, Joint Future

Join us online for an exclusive event hosted by the Region of Southern Denmark in close collaboration with JA PreventNCD, one of the largest EU-funded Joint Actions on Public Health. This international, full-day policy event takes place during the Danish EU presidency, disseminating key insights from major strategic European health initiatives under the EU4Health programme.

Purpose and Aim

The main objective is strengthening cooperation and knowledge sharing among European health actors to lay the foundation for addressing EU health policy priorities. 

Together, we aim to establish potential joint strategies and sustainable solutions for future health challenges. 

The event will gather 150 selected in-person participants in Odense and will also provide the possibility for online participation.

09.45   Session 1 – The European health challenges
            What is the status of the European health challenges and how can large strategic projects, such as Joint Action
            partnerships, support the efforts in reducing the disease burden throughout Europe.

10.15   Session 2 – Global health challenges
            How are global and European health challenges linked with focus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment,
            and what is the role of European partnerships?
