Digital Health Service for Citizens with Osteoporosis

The partnership aims to develop and test a tailored digital solution that strengthens citizens’ ability to manage life with osteoporosis, prevents new fractures, and reduces inequality in access to knowledge and support. 

This digital solution is designed to complement the existing care pathway for osteoporosis patients within the public healthcare system. To achieve this, the project will bring together key healthcare stakeholders to create a digital service that empowers citizens with osteoporosis.

With roots in The Digital Health Centre and an initiative led by The Danish Osteoporosis Association, the research unit OPEN, Health Innovation Centre of Southern Denmark, and the municipalities Vejen, Hjørring, Horsens, and Haderslev, the project aims to unite resources across municipalities, research, and civil society.

The workshop showcased strong engagement and highlighted both the need and the potential of this initiative. However, we are still in the development phase seeking to bring together relevant stakeholders across sectors.
